  • Isn't it Jessie Wallace, not Jessie Matthews?

  • @jjj29871 Yes, I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. Fixed it now.

  • @smelleykins: I keep looping it too, it's great!

  • I can't seem to edit this video, youtube just put the first line of my description into the title and threw the rest away. So thanks for mentioning that, this is Jessie Wallace playing Miss Marie Lloyd.

  • I love this song !!!!!!!!

  • @6musky Um, no. Marie Lloyd did.

  • @kriemhild85

    Who, Jessie Wallace? :0

  • What happened to the 'You can't trust a Special' line?

  • @3dwurli I totally agree

  • @Greengate777 I believe it had something to do with national confidence and a sense of unity. Today these attributes do not exist and our society is the poorer for it.

The blame lies entirely with the cultural Marxists and ourselves for letting them destroy what once was a superior existence.

  • @NickyLess Spot on.

  • @Greengate777 My father was born in the Edwardian era - and I agree with you (I'm an American but in my heart...I'm home in Blighty...)

  • Ironically she got her start singing temperance songs!

  • does anybody else have a sneaking suspicion that the Edwardians knew much better than us how to have a good time? I sometimes fear that today we have stuff, but we kinda forgot to enjoy living....
