Nah, L2 is made by the company NCsoft, the same guys that made Aion.

L2 is most known in Korea and other asian countries.

It's not free, and it's far better than WoW in difficulty (not to easy so 3 year old kids can't play), graphics (doesn't look like a childish game) and it's not nearly as expensive to buy concerning you don't have to pay for new expansions. Only for the account and game time
