Obama and BP: Killing you and Killing me

The truth is, we need oil. Even if we took every Randian Regressive SUV loving American and secretly slipped them fair trade organic coffee and sprinkled some Ed Begley Jr. pixie dust that magically turned everyone in the United States into members of the green party and we elected people like Rev. Billy to office, there is still going to be a significant transition period as we wean ourselves from our suicidal and homicidal addiction to oil.

the alternative fuels that we use now are not efficient enough to power our country(which president obama is trying to make a possibility). there was a spill, our government tried to clean it up, and now we have to move on in a safer fashion and drill so that we may TRY to decrease the drastic effect of high oil prices on our economy.......... try to understand the plausability of the things you say, not that unrealistic, ideological and immoral arguements arent the weapon of most obama haters.
