Used to watch these beautiful planes at Manchester Airport (used to be Ringway) in the '50s. The carrier was Lufthansa and they were the most exotic aircraft to land at Ringway. Love to see another one.

el nombre del conni no es correcto,el super tiene tanques de combustible en punta deala,este es l.749,yo vole como piloto en la empresa CAUSA (uruguay) en los años 69 y 70,y teniamos 3 L.749 cedidos por klm,y posteriormente vino un super alquilado en EEUU HASTA SU QUIEBRA,ESTE AVION FUE DEVUELTO A SUS PROPIETARIOS,yo procedia de la F.AEREA uruguaya y habia volado mucho los DC.3....
