Remember,the communist was not a single group of people..The massive demonstrations was done by normal people,working people..A revolution can not be without great support in the pop.Look at the middel-east,there may by some groups involved in the uprising,but without any support there be no,well,uprising..The communist was part of the pop,the pop was the communist.So there was support by ordinary,working German people---it was not an outside group,many Germans wanted a revolution...

And to add, the communist revolution happened because the Czars were locking up the food and starving the workers in an attempt to enslave them and trying to justify it through theological doctrine. The people got together and said "enough". Now the conservatives of today are doing the same thing. Sitting on the money instead of creating jobs. Trying to starve America into submission. It is always oppressor versus oppressed.
