  • @mizlopi How so? The E46 is notorious for having the subframe crack especially when it's driven aggresively (ie burnouts, donuts, launches). The subframe on these cars is too thin and need to be reinforced by welding in plates. If this guy is driving his car like this it should come as no surprise that the rear subframe could potentially start to warp and crack. Google search "e46 subframe failure" because it's a lot more common than you think.

  • Unless it's already been taken care of...I'm expecting subframe failure in this cars future if this is how its driven/treated.
