US guitarist Jerry Donahue in this face to face interview with Rick Wakeman, talks about his time with bands such as Fotheringay, Fairport Convention, the legendary British vocalist Sandy Denny and his technique of string Bending.

Throughout his career Jerry has also contributed to recordings and tours with a string of music's most revered stars including Gerry Rafferty, Robert Plant, Joan Armatrading, Elton John, George Harrison, Cliff Richard, Chris Rea, Bonnie Raitt, Hank Marvin, Roy Orbison, Nancy Griffith, The Yardbirds, and The Hellecasters.

Jerry's parents had highly successful careers in the world of entertainment. His father, the late Sam Donahue was a favorable 1940s/50s Big Band leader and his mother the TV and film actress, Patricia Donahue. Together they both encouraged Jerry in his music making, right from his early classical guitar lessons as a child.
