FootBrazil spoke to Sandro Ranieri just before this year's World Cup. The midfielder has signed a five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur and will join the club once Internacional end their run in the Libertadores.
In this interview, Ranieri talks about his early career, Dunga, and being on Brazil's World Cup reserve list.
Ranieri also discusses his playing style and what Spurs fans can expect when he arrives in London.
Earlier this week, the midfielder made the Brazil squad after being called up by new coach Mano Menezes.

  • SANDRO ....Future of Spurs.

  • Fantastic prospect. I'm sorry to say this but Palacios time at Spurs is up. Especially when Huddlestone is nearly recovered. If all Spurs players are fit (and back from loan) I'll play:

    Gomes

    Walker-King-Dawson-Ekotto

    Lennon-Sandro-Modric-Bale

VDV-Crouch/Defoe/Pav (they're about as useful as each other)

Subs: Krancjar (VDV/Modric), Huddlestone (Sandro), Gallas (Dawson), Cudicini (Gomes), Corluka (Walker), Peinaar (Bale/Lennon), Kaboul (for King/Walker).

It's hard to choose so many...

  • @Arkruya88x He can sing like Drake as well, and rap.

  • @dfstarborn

Jenas ain't that bad a player over night he's a good lad with his feet on the ground im sure he'll fight for his place although i think it might take a while for sandro to get into the team i think harry will go with experience first in van der vaart, Palacious is a good hard working man, i think they all will stay the thing is you need this kind of squad for the Champs league and no body wants to miss out on that as they're value will go down if they leave through the back door

  • @dfstarborn we wont be able to keep Huddlestone Palacios on the bench

What do you think will happen (Not to mention Jenas) who i hope goes soon

  • this player is the man that spurs have been waiting for and if he clicks in the white shirt he could be the missing piece to complete the puzzle for spurs, he reminds me so much of Roy Keane and its nice to see he has his feet well on the gound i say hes a steel at 7 million pounds.

  • what a gent.cant wait to see him pull on the spurs jersey

  • Thanks for this, can't wait for him to don the lillywhite.
