Nice unit has it worked well and up to your expectations.
Im curouis how much gold did you collect in 1 day and how much does this machine cost.
Best of luck to ya.

@northstarmining Hello, The unit wasn't my first choice, but a partner purchased this unit instead. My first choice was a Goldfield trommel, but this unit is working well after some modifications. I would recommend making a much longer sluice, it's way to short stock. We added another 10-12 foot section that helps with smaller gold. One drawback if you have coarse gold, there is no built in nugget trap, so make sure you pay attention or get larger screen to help tossing out larger gold.

@Nuggethunting Im looking at buying this same type and brand to use on some claims here in southern Idaho. Whats your overall thoughts on this trommel? Would you purchase it again? Add on a 20 ft. long sluice?

where is the drink holder on this thing? I cant move rocks with one hand damn it!

yeah but yer needing some work on the trommel, it should have some sprials to move the oversise through it

Now this is proper gear can't see much point in small sluices and high bankers... not if you want to show a profit. Well done lads loads of gold for you!

You might up the pressure on your spray bars or something. Doesn't look like it's cleaning the rocks as well as it could. Otherwise, looks awesome, wish I had one that big! :)
Hello, the unit is around 35-40K brand new. I guess the amount of gold depends on the ground you're running and how much you process per day. We have added many mods to the unit since we received it. Extended the sluice about 10 foot, added a larger hopper and other smaller mods.

Hello Tangible,
Yes, that was the first test run. The water pressure was way too low.

Hello Greg, This video was not intented on showing all the details. We actually just sent the unit up that day, many fine adjustments needed to be done. The unit works great, but we done some mods on it. We can process about 100 yards a day if needed through this unit.
