On the heels of the Blue [USB] Yeti microphone demo, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the Blue Mouse.
The Mouse is physically small, but a big contender when you want to capture smooth, pure low end without sacrificing mids and highs.
Join me for an up-close look and listen to the Blue Mouse. A timidly named, yet very bold microphone.
I feel like I need to make a point here. While this mic may sound good for voice overs it's not what it's function is and it would be a waste of money to use this for voice overs. This is a STUDIO condenser mic, this is designed for completely different applications and you would be doing yourself a favor not to buy this mic for the sole purpose of voice over work.

Hey Mark -
I'm just venturing into the VO realm and am totally confused with all the mic options.
Really, I'm hesitatant to pull the trigger on anything, be it software, etc.
Any chance you'd be able to message me to answer some specific questions? Much appreciated.

While this mic does work wonderfully on broadcast, its actual design intent was for bass percussion and bass instruments, which accounts for its awesome low end. I've often seen this mic planted in front of kick drums. Also, in addition to the transformer and transformer-less models, there is a white omnidirectional mouse.
