Sharing your knowledge and give your opinions don't make you a revolutionary. You may be the equivalent of a good writer or a movie maker but not a revolutionary. The revolution may use the internet but THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED. (this is also a message for puff daddy and his new network)

well... good luck, sista!

don't forget that the revolution is still not televised in some other countries.. my country West Papua for instance..

This is a stupid version of the song. It goes against everything he said. The original advocates for action on the streets. Not the stupid media we use to communicate now.
-
sure, times have changed, but as u can tell from the "occupy" movemet... they have created a media blackout and no one will cover it, so...the revolution...is not being televised.
-
@tillzen Boy you were wrong about the revolution never happening. LOL!

Gil Scott will be missed. He meant inner revolution where peeps did not get their culture from TV or YOUTUBE.
The revolution will never happen as we too fat and without aesthetics to revolt. Bring it tillzen @ twitter ... I invented a licorice Easter Candy. Little Chicks made of black licorice called "PERPS", Is this funny or racist or both? Engage ?

updating the original with a modern take is in no way disrespecting Gil Scott Heron, it's paying him a compliment. The original is a truly seminal peice of work but times have changed, and this is an excellent version.
