RC Trainers are designed to be easy to fly and land. They are great learning tools. But that doesn't mean they are boring to fly. Watch this short video to see some surprising trainer performance.

  • Welcome to the world of RC model aviation. Don't worry about aerobatics. Go to Sport Avaitor's Advanced Training Section and the articles will show you how to safely begin flying aerobatics and then progress to combining a few of them. The Hobbico Avistar is the perfect airplane to learn aerobatics.

  • The music made me want to TEAR MY EARS OFF AND STICK AN ELECTRIC DRILL IN THE BLOODY HOLES THAT REMAIN... Nice video though, I like the ElectraFly. It was the first glow plane I ever flew.

  • Hope Johnny Winters didn't hear that, his feelings would be hurt! I have a weakness for blues wire benders and thought the Mojo Boogie's upbeat tone would add to the aerobatics. It took me 3 weeks to get all the permissions nec. to use the music. Guess I will have to rein in my love for wire bending. Thanks for the nice comment on the video though.

  • Great Video!!! I have flown 193 successful flights with my super cub and have just recently started flying my nitro hobbico airvista. Until now I wasn't sure if it was safe to try a few aerobatic maneuvers. I am still a little scared of going too crazy, I am afraid of the dreaded 'dead stick'. Thanks for the excellent video!!

  • Thanks for the kind video comment. The Hobbico Avistar is a great aerobatic trainer. Go to Sport Aviator's Advanced Training Section. There are several articles on learning to fly aerobatics and then putting them together. Its aerobatics the easy way. BTW - The Avistar glides really well so deadsticks should be easier than you are thinking right now. Welcome to model aviation.

  • Ok, so I was a bit rough on the music. It's just not my thing. I more of a Journey/VanHalen/Eagles kind of guy. Again, nice video.
