  • o btw..congrats on the new bundle of joy! :) lol

  • @MsDrescher88 than you!

  • Hi! first of all, let me just say how I love all of your videos and they have really helped me. I have been natural for 4 months and I just did the big chop like 3 days ago! :) I was totally lost about how to take care of natural hair and you were the one who actually inspired me to just go ahead and do the big chop. your hair is gorgeous and beautiful! :).. and now on to my question..i bought some palmer's coconut oil formula hair milk and coconut oil hairdress. Is that not good for my hair?

  • @MsDrescher88 Thank you! I say use whatever works for your hair. I love the hair milk, it makes my curls pop when I do a wash and go and it does wonders on my girls' hair when getting them ready in the day time. I'm not sure about the hairdress, but try it and tell me how it is! I wanted to try the whole line but the store I went to was sold out except for the hair milk. I have a twitter friend that tried the shampoo and condit. and she absolutely loves it.

  • wow. I am one year natural this month yay!!! I have gone though some the exact same things you have... well all of the exact things. self consciousness, wigs, tracks. making my own products, the works. I have now gone back to the bss because I spent way too much money trying to make my own products. although I love Shea butter, buying every product individually was quite a burden to my pockets. what are some of the things you have found work best at the bss

  • @kyasia18 I like Africa's best ultimate herbal oil for my scalp. IC Fantasia olive oil gel for definition, bio infusion olive oil leave-in, and for my babies hair i use palmer's coconut oil formula hair milk to moisturize their curls. I haven't found anything that is like shea for my twists and such so just some shea mixed w/ olive oil is good. She is like 12 dollars where i stay at a vendor in our flea market. and that's a lot of shea.

  • Ive been going natural for a year, but I cant cut the relaxed part. At least not yet. Even though I only wear protective styles, I hate having short hair. After I get to a certain length I'll cut the relaxed ends.

  • *has

Uummm, dduuh?? Lol, I missed the vid because I wasn't subscribed to your channel? I thought I WAS! Just subbed girlie!

    Blessings always!

  • Great vid girl! (Don't know how I missed it?) I enjoyed your reflections! Especially since I did only a 3 month transition before cutting ALL of my length and a great deal of my new growth! My hair has changed tremendously! Though I am thankful for my quick BC because it jas given me nearly 7 months to get to learn MY hair in its entirety!

My hair tends to shrink, tends to be drier, learning that butters and some creams luv my hair!

  • @innovativethinkin and one more thing.. i've been trying to find some pure unrefined shea butter and also some jamaican black castor oil and can't find it anywhere ( more so the jamaican black castor oil, no one's heard of it)..anyway.. i really don't like purchasing stuff online so do you know of any store maybe where i can buy pure unrefined shea butter? where do you get your shea butter and jamaican black castor oil. I would really appreciate if you could help me out thanks! :)

  • @innovativethinkin I tried the hairdress and the coconut milk and my hair was extremely soft way before i even applied the veggie glycerin lol ..I actually did some twists just in the back to try it out lol ( after applying my palmer's coconut oil AND hairdress and later combed the twists out. the next day i put my vegetable glycerin( w/ rosemary, tea tree and water) and i felt and saw a drastic differnce. my whole head was soft but ESPECIALLY my back! idk if it's b/c i did the twists or... lol
