Matt (2 of 4) [Redone]

During my last semester in Boulder, Colorado I only made one really good friend, Matt. At the time I was photographing a series of still images of his room. I was going to incorporate the footage into an animation project, the project was never finished. That same day he told me that he was joining the Marines. My brand new DV camera in hand, I began recording our conversation. Matt was meeting his uncle at the Pearl Street Mall, a beautiful open air mall. We discuss the notion of just action in regards to Afghanistan while passing by the Boulder Court House. The area made for plenty of serendipitous occurrences that made for good film moments.

I touched up this version of the video with some tighter editing and some titles.
