Rush 2049 lost song: "Mellow"

IMO, this song is one of the better examples of the emotional depth that Mr. Leitch is capable of.

Quote from Barry Leitch, who composed the soundtracks for the Rush series:

"The Rush dc mellow part, was a rush reject.. and a precursor to the trip track.."

"Like I said, I started the track, then tried to jazz it up to suit rush, but failed a bit.. I had reached a writing block, and literally could not do anything more until I sat down and wrote that trip track.. its one of the few tracks Ive ever written just for myself.."

Barry Leitch....he also composed the music in Top Gear Rally (another favorite racer of mine). strangely, this song gives me a Top Gear Rally menu vibe. o_O it's like he remixed it using the Rush 2049 instruments. it's a pity that this was rejected; it definitely fits the name: it's mellow, calm, and somewhat depressing. I find this even more depressing due to it being rejected. =/ Garage, The Rock, Retro, Wingey, Flier, Internet, Seventies, and Mellow: favorite Rush 2049 songs.
