@stanbrekston thanks. wasn#t aware of j moran. love his live performance."my phone is ringing" . clever concept, nice playing.
-
@markmarktarmann we forgot keith jarret, chick corea & it's still a little too soon to add jason moran
-
@gazzamuso i thought hipsters have scraggly beards and too tight short plaid shirts and way too low and tight pants. or is that only metro hipsters?
-
@stanbrekston Jacky Terrasson is on that list too . tho he plays wonderfully in all sorts of 'settings :i.e. the Bacharach tribute album w vocalist. ...and . I know JT's done a lot of ensemble work, , it seems it hasnt been recorded (or promoted?) as much. Or he prefers to play, or at least limit his released material to that done with his own trio, quartet, solo. kind of shame, and effects his "legacy". I'll add to your list Jarrett Evans Corea Peterson .any giants we forgot?.......

it's a real shame that these guys aren't paid millions of dollars
-
90s jazz fashion was so cool! Now all the hipsters dress like these guys used to ages ago and call themselves original.

fuck i wish i was at this concert...this is what music is all about, sad that this only has 46,000 views...ignorance sometimes is not bliss, jazz is for the ones who understand
One of the best working quartets ever.
