@snarf3456 its well worth the effort to check out the lineage of a lot of "new" music.....even many of the big hits of the late sixties were covers of great acts from earlier.....dig led zep?.....it will lead you to great american blues men like willie dixon.....a lot of british invasion stuff was white boy versions of american r+b....the beatles twist and shout was done by the isley bros,and on and on.....
