Jack is talking about the Halloween decorations at Mendards and Target. Six months from our first video. He's in preschool 5x/week (special education) and receives ST, OT and PT. Jack also has SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder). We love him so much and are very proud of him!

  • Hi, I can see you uploaded this video over 3 years ago, but I was hoping you might have some information for me. My son was evaluated by a speech therapist at his preschool and was deemed developmentally normal, but your son in this video appears to have better receptive and expressive language than my son. I was wondering how you got your diagnosis and where I could go to have a more thorough evaluation. I have tried my pediatrician but he didn't seem interested so I went to the school.

  • He's so cute~! He reminds ofmy daughter who is also 37 months and she has some speech difficulties and repetitive behaviors. I am suspecting she may be Autistic.

  • He is so beautiful! Such a blessing he is to the world. How is his development coming along with his team of therapists?

  • Cutest little thing..

  • he so cute....

  • I also think my son has this he is 34 months.

  • precious!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I actually just found out today that my 37 month old son has apraxia. Your son reminds me so much of my son Alex. He is so precious. Again, thanks for posting this even though I know other kids have this... it's nice to actually see it and know you're not alone.

  • I wanted to offer encouragement to all of the parents of kids with speech apxria. When I was growing up, I had worse speech problems than the boy in the video. I'm in grad school now and all that's left of my speech problems is a slight "accent" which people mistake for English (I grew up in MO). I have lead classes and I currently teach kindergarden sunday school. I even competed in speech and debate in high school.

  • Wow!! Your son is priceless!! Sooo adorable!!!

I have SPD too. I'm so interested in neurological disorders i want to become a neurologist, neuro-oncologist or neuro-surgeon.

I just found out about Apraxia today and I think it is so interesting. I have Tourette Syndrome, a neurological disorder too!! I love learning about new things, and this video is amazing and has helped me understand what this is and how it can affect children!! I hope you son is doing better!! Kepp up the good work!!
