  • I dont understand the obsession with labelling Switchfoot as a "Christian rock" band, when even Switchfoot doesn't want to be called that. Christ didn't die for a few tunes, so how can it be "Christian" music? Its the guys in the band who are Christian... their music is universal - everyone can relate to it. The guys have repeatedly said that they dont want to be boxed into a genre.. that their music is for EVERYONE. "We're Christians by faith, not by genre." - Tim Foreman

  • A very good cover. But the singers need to move around, lol.

  • @happyguy215 so true. there's a difference between a christian band, and christians in a band. :)

  • @flyjackflay Why would you stop watching it if we were singing the right lyrics?

  • @FoobicusMaximus No offense but learn how to spell offense.

  • random chick?

  • I stopped watching when he said "Inside these prison cells" They just royally botched an incredible song, that only Switchfoot can do justice to. Stop posting this shit on youtube

  • O my gosh i almost died laughing when i played this. No effence but the old lady singing was hilarious. And they only showed the bassist once whats up with that?

  • @happyguy215 Switchfoot specifically says that they feel being labeled a "Christian band" excludes some people from music, which they don't want to do because they want their music to make people think.

That being said in about two weeks I'll be seeing them live at a Christian conference, and they very much live a life for Christ that we should follow.

  • @LeaningTowardsPisa Even if it wasn't meant for that setting, If it has a chance of touching peoples lives and bringing them closer to Jesus, does it really matter? (I'm not trying to start an argument, I just like hearing other peoples opinions.).
