@fierynette i mean it sounds like he is singing in a musical. kelli's voice is so much more dramatic in your sense of the word, in my opinion.

@OMATICH ....that's really not true. You need to have a dramatic voice to pull off trip-hop. Kelli was a 'good' singer... but that was pretty much it. Think about artists like Lamb, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Portishead, Hooverphonic, they *all* have vocalists with the ability to make you feel the music, and that is what trip hop was all about, getting under your skin. Sneaker Pimps lyrics mean so much more with the lyricist singing them.. and one who moves people without even trying.

I adore this whole album from the bottom of my heart. It is stunning. I often play it in the night hours and fall asleep with it on. His voice is like a lullaby. It is beyond beautiful. I love everything he has ever produced. He is brilliant and amazing. My favorite. The best.

Kelli's voice on records wasn't too bad.
But for Splinter and Bloodsport Chris' voice just adds so much more. It's stunning.
