  • I think quarks are like a spring... the farther they are the more force there is attracting them... the closer they are, the less forces there is attracting them... and at some point the quark can be separated... what happens then Idk...

  • that is true and if you pull them far enough apart the energy going into the pulling then creates matter, making two new quarks giving 2 pairs from the original one

  • It's like there is a large sphere surrounding both of them and the inside face has the same effect on them like a negative magnet has on another negative magnet.

  • But there might be a deconfined state. The so-called quark gluon plasma

  • maybe it's not a quark anymore once it's separated.
