Produced by students at the American University, this video tells the story of how learning English helps families to become more connected to the community - and to each other. The film also highlights the work of MCAEL, a Montgomery County-based nonprofit, who - in partnership with local adult English literacy service providers - works to ensure that residents are employable, engaged, and empowered by literacy to reach their full potential.
