  • @casherago Christ if the ultimate head of the church and there is no visible head on earth to act in his name. Christ is also the ultimate sacrifice, that we can join by participating in the Eucharist, which was performed by the Apostles, and those that they appointed. Christ speaks of the historic church, which he formed. Christianity is a ritualistic and not purely intellectual religion. You can communicate to and grow in the likeness of God without priests.

  • @RabMaksim He knew that they would have to continue to spread the faith throughout the ends of the earth (i.e. Matt 28:18-20.) However, as we can find in the book of Hebrews we see that Christ had both the role of ultimate Sacrifice and Great High Priest. Did that answer it?

  • @casherago Then why'd he make Apostles the priests?

  • @Julio2301 I don't believe that God changes but I do believe that He has given different covenants at different points in time (i.e. Davidic, Mosaic covenants etc.). We no longer need a Priest for intercession because Christ Himself is the High Priest that intercedes to the Father. My beliefs are completely Trinitarian.

  • @franner2002 that would be a sweet tat! you posted that a year ago...did ya end up getting it man?

  • @911FireStud Every Christian should sing this on the Christian Sabbath. As a Presbyterian, I agree.

  • @casherago typical Dispensationalist.

  • Actually that commandment is under the Old Covenant. The new Blood Covenant that Christ gave us through His sacrifice releases all of the old Jewish customs. Follow all of His commandments, but the old ones are nwo done away with.

  • i love this song

  • i love this so much, we sing it in church every Sunday :)

    Praise God!!!
