This is a short I had to do at camp, I've been told it's cute so I thought I'd post it.
I wasn't allowed to make any cuts, which sucks for me because I like editing more than anything -sigh- So the entire short was filmed in one shot.
I hope you enjoy it, it was pretty fun to make.

Songs used:

What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet

  • @blader952 its a good camp i went theri over summer but i went to the cali one its really good i have films and now some popel are going big from cali inboxx me and well talk (:

  • awesome :) so this was made in Socapa camp? how was it there? i'm planning to there for this coming summer... wanna take photography though.

  • @ZeenyTehZurjian I bet the camera person wasnt on the ground now that I think of it. The cameras have kind of a handle at the top of them, he/she probably held the camera by that and kinda walked steadily with it.

  • @FleetStreetNightmare Ohh I see -- that makes sense. :3 But even with the motion stabilizer, I bet it still would've been difficult to manipulate the camera that low to the ground.

  • must have felt weird for those two girls to talk to the camera like that lol

Im guessing the camera operator was crawling on the ground for this video? xD

  • I like the idea to have this from the dog's POV first, nice camera work, I went to SOCAPA this year, it was a lot of fun! this was for the Lumiere film then right? I found doing things without editing was kind of annoying, but it is interesting to see how many angles you could get without making any cuts

  • @ZeenyTehZurjian The cameras used at SOCAPA have a motion stability thing that you can turn on so when you pan the camera side to side it does not appear too shaky and like a low quality cell phone video (i went to the summer program this year). It all depends on skill of the camera operator, this person luckily knew what they were doing so the video turned out well.

  • Aww, it is really cute! How do you maneuver the camera exactly? I mean, it moves just enough for the audience to know it's a puppy, but it doesn't move to the point that it's too shaky to get a good picture. Nicely done! =)

  • Yay! My sheep!

    ~Genny

  • GAH thats so cute! lol good job =)
