Just want to add they go red when cooked. We microwave them for 30min if bigger its longer. Thats a job I wont do. Its bad enough when they bang on the tank to get you to look and when they follow you around if you walk near them. Dogs with shells. Its weird. They only do it with me.

I just unpacked a much bigger and more blue one today at work. My first. VERY COOL when you open the box. Sadly blues are not that rare but we had a white one awhile back. The media jumped on it and head office shipped it back to the plant to be set free. :)

I've saw one in person before, got to hold it and have a good look. It's quite cool to see a blue lobster.

cool i seen a huge won at my aqaurium around my area and alsso i seen blue cray fish i like the cool of the cray fish better then lobster its like a neon but i heard those are rare isnt there a 1 in 2 million chance you can catch that

Huh. I searched blue lobster because I saw a very small one that was supposedly a blue lobster in petco today but they were only selling it for 20. It looked really similar to a crawfish or something and I had never heard of it so I looked it up. If they're that rare I wonder why a pet store would only sell one for 20.

@Molfranzofith You may have seen a blue crayfish. They are not rare and are sold as pets.
The lobster in this video is an American Lobster... the kind that fishermen catch in the Atlantic Ocean. They are caught for the food industry.
Go to wikipedia and search american lobster; then scroll down to mutations for info about them.
