It's sad how little people care, they put their trust in the collective. They think government is basically god because that's exactly what they are trained to believe/behave

Lies have become truth Winston, the party is in full control

Governments are the biggest purveyors of violence. They extract the wealth of the people in the form of taxes under threat of police violence and prison. They support large standing armies and the arms industry. They run large prison systems under corporate law.

Give them a trial or release. There are no if or buts about this situation.
The longer it is allowed to continue, the more freedoms for everyone is threatened.
