In another Top Ten List I give my opinion on some of Anime's loveliest and toughest female characters and why I they deserve to be on my personnal list.

Very solid list, I saw alot of my favourites in both parts (though I personally would have chosen robin over nami), and you're right, I did draw a blank on your number one spot.

i love it when 2:50 in the vid. its so true when he gose on about the Lt. of squad 10 in bleach. i really dont even say its not like for me i like bleach cause its draw's me into it like i get drawn into it and i feel like im in it sometimes or my imagination take's over and i put myself in it. but thats the reason i like it.

good choice at putting Revy in second place. i think the reason ppl like her is well the way she is like i find her funny because of how she is. when she swear's i laugh cause shes even saying while angry or when she's enjoying her self or just saying it cause its natural. aswell she is pretty cool being abel to do what she can do jumping every where and still being abel to kill is amazing. i myself love pulling the trigger of a gun. when i held a gun the first time i smiled like a crazy guy :)

Rue from Princess Tutu. She was the series dark magical girl and damn that black ballet suit fit her well. She is very skilled (not to say strong since disputes here are solved with often therapeutical dance offs), and starts off as likable senior, goes to ruthless obsessed villain, then tragic heartbroken villain to hostage and thus final motivation for Mytho to snap out of his strut. She is the epitome of a woman wants to be loved and isnt a strong female character, but she makes an impression

Sena and Yozora from Haganai. Those girls belong together. Not only are they both hilariously stuck up street fighting cats that always have a go at each other, but also they drive the story's plot (together with the pityable male lead Kodaka) out of their earnst desire to find friends, which due to their personalities, more often than not fails. But still, despite being enourmous bitches they really are fun and even a bit sympathetic.

Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai. A beautiful woman who walks through modern Tokyo in her Kimono and a red jacket. Oh, and she has the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, which enables her to see the inherent flaws of anything (living being, object and even concepts). She can strike those flaws, thus obliterating everything. Added to her ability is her being incredibly athletic, very cynical and her morbid views on life, death and murder. Also, she can get very emotional.

Motoko Kusanagi from … no, you know where this woman is from. Anyway, she is a strong-willed- sharp-witted, tough and occasinally really funny woman. And she can hack and drinks a lot of beer.
