The Powermat will allow you to charge 3 different devices wirelessly and one extra device by using the integrated USB port. The Powercube comes with 8 possible connector tips which will allow you to charge nearly all mobile devices on the market. Some specific products from Powermat will allow you to charge specific devices with ease. These specific products are: BlackBerry Battery Doors, Apple Cases and Docks, Nitendo DS Back Panels and of course the Universal Powercube receiver.

In the video below I will show you the following products:

Powermat Home & Office Mat ( $99.99)
Powermat Portable Mat ($99.99)
Receiver-Dock for iPod and iPhone ($39.99)
Receiver-Case for iPhone ($39.99)
Powercube Universal Receiver ($29.99)
Items also available but are not shown in the video are:

BlackBerry Battery Door ($29.99) BlackBerry Tour, Bold, Curve 8300, Curve 8900 and Pearl
Receiver-Back for Nitendo DS ($29.99) Nitendo DS Lite and Nitendo DSi

Conclusion:

Using the Powermat system is a good step into the future. At my home desk the Powermat is a great solution to charge three devices with ease. I highly recommend it.

It would be great if the Portable Powermat would be smaller and thinner. The Travel Case with everything into it is still more volume in my very limited cargo travel space. A simple small usb hub build into the plugs and 2-3 individual usb charging cables will save much more space in my luggage.

I think this technology will grow and will become a standard into devices into the future. I am glad the European Community is having results with creating at least a standard in Mini and Micro USB Charging for mobile devices. Let's see if integrated wireless charging could be the next step!!

  • With a little more development this product would not be such a piece of shit. Wireless charging should be wireless, not add a corded box for non popular products that wirelessly connects to the pad. Great idea but could still use alot of development.

  • As I mentioned in the video, It is a great start to get rid of some cables. But the fututre will probably even allows over the air charging

  • is there a charging difference between the moble mat and the office mat?

  • No, Just that one is foldable, same funtionalities

  • great review but theres 3problems to the hole mini micro connecter 1 is how is it wireless chargig when u still got the big white box hanging from ur phone nice to break ur connecter then u got the if my phone charger unit is broken. u cant charge without it pluged in like the wallcharger so thats not wireless and 3 i have the samsung transformer which is deffenly not on the market for no samsung sept the galxy or w,e u call it. 1 samsung type and the rest for iphone and htc.brand of lags/crashs

  • Do any of these things work on Dell laptops?

  • The reciever for the Htc Evo is alot more sleek then the one for the Iphone. It fits the same as the back cover for the Evo.

  • Apple will release more advanced technology in the near future.

  • just for all you optimists...there will never be such a thing as "wireless charging" unless you want an electric arc flowing through the air uncotrollably, there will never be wireless charging.

  • Fail

  • iphone chargers die out after a couple months!

I have no trouble with power mat. You can either buy a big power mat or small

  • this is a piece of shit. very first generation. minus well use your cell phone charger to plug up. this device is to much work. when u can just plug and go.wow
