@KOTYAR0 that would be Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure! in which Keanu Reeves (along with Alex Winter) plays an average kid who is suddenly plunged into a science-fiction world in which he discovers that he is the saviour of humanity, takes guidance from an enigmatic teacher, and where everybody wears decade-defining sunglasses... sounds familiar, right!
