Love this song and had the great pleasure of hearing Archie sing in person at a private little venue in Hunter River, Prince Edward Island, this past Wednesday night. Beautiful voice and guitar playing and a lovely gentleman with a terrific sense of humour....lots of great stories!

I heard this song many years ago on "the folk sampler". I was luck to have my cassette recorder on. Listened to it for years until my tape gave out. But the song stuck with me for years. It is amazing how a song can take you back to a time and place. I have it on CD now. You should sample his version of "The Final Trawl".

This is one of my favorite songs in the world! I can't believe it is hanging out here on YouTube!!! 5 stars!!! He sounds just like the recording on "Off the Map" even without Garnet.

Stumbled over this, his voice like honey coated whisky sweeties and his guitar playing sublime, as always. Not bad for an "old codger".
