@rasgelo I've got two in the tibia, and one through my heel. I only felt pain when the doctor was unbolting the nuts on the fixator, and when he removed it from my heel. I didn't even feel the removal from my shin, but the removal from the heel was probably the most intense pain I've EVER felt. Oh and they don't numb you ahead of time.... Good luck!
