If you can hear what she's saying, she says that she'd told security that it was alright if people get up and dance. In that case, he's not doing what he was instructed, he's doing what he was instructed NOT to do.

That was just as good as Trent Reznor saying "Steal my shit!" lol...Fucken great!!!

@plaidnum the fans were dancing, security wasn't letting them, and so she got right pissed. she didn't want another soulless audience like Seattle.

@truthseeker0183 Actually Derek is right. I was at the concert and witness first hand the jerk of a security guard. It was awesome!
-
wow.....lol

She went after the girl on the cellphone at a different show. The girl was interrupting "Code Red"
-
No The girls were dancing and the security guard was being an asshole and Tori told the guard 2 get the fuck out of her show not the girls...she wanted people to dance and groove to the music
-
she is such a bitch but also one of the singers i apreciate a lot
-
I guess the moral of the story is never hire the Hell's Angel's to do security at your show.

"this is not f*cking school!"

You really sound like you're clinging to some old experience that has faded, and now you're looking around at the general culture for some excuse to write it all off. I was a huge fan of Amos' first three albums, and they're still the best by a mile, but she has always had a totally annoying fanbase and expecting genius from her is just too much- you can't be genius on every album. I don't care who you're talking about, nobody is. And ew, Beekeeper tour? Why? Awful album, cheeseball tour concept

"A good Tori show is nothing less than a spiritual experience." Well said.
I do miss her "back in tha day" though. I was quite an amazing time. Wish I could recapture those feelings.

She IS good about mingling pre-show. Most die-hard Tori fans (myself included) have had the opportunity to meet / get an autograph. It just seems that at some point she realised that her demographic loved to see her humiliate a fan or the local crew- so she does it more & more often. Die hard Tori fans are her bread & butter- maybe she figures she can afford to sacrifice a fan or two in exchange for assured online official Tori merchandise sales from her core "dejected rebel" base.

Very interesting point. I certainly can see where you are coming from. I am sad that a die hard fan would not go to another show at this point. Makes me want to know more. I'm definitely a die-hard myself, but have to say that I am not one of the dejected rebel over-the-top "non-conformists". Her concerts were full of "vampires" in the 90's, and some beyond, but lately there have been a lot of middle aged, "normal" adults at her concerts, Just another little something I noticed.

It was refreshing to see some "everyday" people there. That core base of dejected rebels is still there though - goes to show that they can be pretty fucking mean people in ways. I have never liked the asshole rebel. Be a rebel if you want, but don't be a fucker too, you know!? In terms of taking advantage of a demographic - that does annoy me.
