Dwight Howard, a center for the Orlando Magic basketball team, and his strength coach Joe Rogowski teach the Bench Press. ""Bench press is just total upper body and strengh. Dwight's sets and reps, have a routine that Dwight really enjoys. He does a pyramid technique, and increases weight, until he gets to his max set of two reps. The pyramid takes endurence and strength, and most importantly for his position because he is a power player, increased the power in the fast twich muscle fibers. A lot of athletes, when they do the bench press, forget about their core strength, and really hypeextend their lower back. So, one of the things you need to be careful with is that you are not hyper-extending too much and over doing it.""

  • @MrCatalano14 you are ignorant as hell

  • @PowerSprinter Woah I put my self on a pedestal?? Some guy called me tall and skinny or something and I very honestly corrected him. If you see me as being on a pedestal because of that then whatever but dont talk down on me like I dont work my ass off every single day. You are trying to make yourself seem so old and experienced. Basically, I defended majic, some guy called me tall and lanky,I defended myself and now wise master powersprinter is helping me work on my life. like just fuck off fag

  • @MrCatalano14 you dont get it do ya, its not about what you do, its that whatever you do, there is someone wayyyy better than you. So dont try to put yourself on such a pedestal because you may be the strongest in your gym, but that is a very minor accomplishment. And if you cant respect people in other sports just because you dont do those sports then you are obviously a kid who never got respected causing you to never give it. Keep working and then you will understand

  • @PowerSprinter obviously legs are not my strong suit. I can do legitamte one armed chin ups at 180pounds natural, Id say I have great genetics considering I have never seen anyone at my gym or any others even come close to it. I train more as a bodybuilder then powerlifter, tbh powerlifting doesnt really impress me at all

  • @PowerSprinter You are just a champ man

  • @MrCatalano14 lmao you just called yourself a genetic freak when you are 180lbs under 6 foot and squat 275? for real bro, im 165 squat 485lbs, got 2nd at nationals in the usapl (usa powerlifting), prolly 6% bf at most and am a collegiate long jumper. And i would never call myself a genetic freak, you are one arrogant man.

  • @MrCatalano14 yeah, thought so, have fun on 4chan kid

  • @onokaoonokao k I wont lose any sleep over it. Im off to the gym

  • @MrCatalano14 you know what they say about youtube-superheroes like you, no video no proof. We'll just think of you as a troll until it's proven otherwise.

  • holy fucking shit that form is AWFUL, it hurts my shoulders just to see him let that weight free fall way way lower than neccessary, he must have some impressive fucking joints not to get hurt like that. He's young though, that's probably the reason for no injuries, hope someone tells him before he fucks up his shoulder big time, those injuries never fully go away.
