the red route is only better because it is mostly down hill and more fun because you have to put loess effort into it but doing the black route fast (expecialy the beast - without falling off!) is brilliant

@MrSimjan . I'm not knocking it. Will be going regular, we both loved both the routes. I live just south of Norwich, do you know any other routes near me please? i'm mostly into road biking but will be increasing my MTB fun.

i agreee black route is to easy should be rated red or green

@divedaz we used to park at brandon country park it was free.
there used to be a route further up from this but went when they cut all the trees down next to where this route is

that last bit looked like jumps if they are i went there the other day i didn't see them and was a bit dissapointed with the black route it was pretty easy and the beast was just starting to get good and then it ended :(

Went last week with my 12 year old daughter. Never done mountain biking before & really enjoyed it. We both did the red & black route so cant be that challenging for mtb veterans. Liked doing the different pits along black route as well.

@clearseaz Most people can ride this, it is certainly not a difficult section to ride - if you found it easy, go back and do it again but faster. Ride the trail, not survive the trail

has this route got any decent jumps or slalum?? i went on the red route today and enjoyed it :)

@khebarbadosblue - being totally honest, the red is far better in my opinion than the black. There are a few jumps etc at the end of the beast but they are all off trail
