  • @ShelbyANDTele Chanukah may be Jewish but Jesus was Jewish. That's the whole point, the menorah represents the "Light of the World" and who is that? Jesus, so you are not celebrating two religions. Jesus celebrated Chanukah, so why shouldn't we? By the way, did Jesus celebrate Christmas? No, Christmas was an invention of man in about the 3rd century A.D. Jesus was not even born in the December time frame. So, it makes more sense to celebrate something Jesus did than to honor a pagan holiday

  • thanx for posting this video! it means alot to us jews :) proud to be jewish <3

  • wow what a take on those were the days by mary hopkin a great remake . sounds so much like the original thank you for posting this keep the great music coming

  • Thank you so much. I would die to be Jew. I Do would love it.

  • @onebigmess253 it is understandable since the Pharisees and Sages rejected Yahoshua (commonly called Jesus) because Yahoshua opposed their man-made traditions. However, all physical things are symbolic of things in the heavens. In John 8:12 and 9:5, Yahoshua calls himself the light (righteousness) of the world, meaning that whoever follows him will not be in darkness (sin). The 8 days of light for the one jar of oil was a blessing from יהוה, just as Yahoshua was as also our redemption.

  • @utubewatcher9100 Furthermore, a better identifier for the Messiah is that he was a biological descendent of king David and Yahudah.

  • @utubewatcher9100 actually, the term Jew is synonymous with being of the Pharisees, which the Messiah, whose name was more closely pronounced as Yahoshua, was adamantly opposed to since the Talmud broke the command of Deuteronomy 4:2 & 12:32 by adding or diminishing any command within the Torah. In other words, to say the Messiah is a Jew is the same as saying he supports the religion of Judaism, which is actually wrong. Just read the gospels and you will see how Yahoshua dealt with Pharisees.

  • @onebigmess253 The Bible teaches that Jews and Gentiles will come together as one in the future and become the bride of Christ. As Christians we understand everything in the old & new testaments is instruction for us to learn about YHVH and how we should live. The menorah was the lamp in the tabernacle and temple and was a picture of Christ becoming the Light of the World. How Jewish is this?(100%) When those Jews see their Messiah & come to Yeshua, it will be perfectly clear Jesus is the light.

  • what a debate on this video...just enjoy the video people! happy chanukah to my brothers and sisters worldwide...light the candles, light up the world

  • @Joanne48S Thank you Joanne. Many of us have a very strong desire that all see the true God of Israel and the Bible and that they would have a personal relationship with Him. Shalom to you and may the miracle of Chanukah fill your heart.

  • @bobf72450 i am NOT denying that Jesus is the light. all i am saying is that Chanukah is a Jewish celebration and that the Jewish dont believe that Jesus is the Messiah so to say that the Menorah represents Jesus as the light makes NO sence at all.

  • Yes! Happy Hanukkah from a Christian who celebrates as Yeshua did! Be Blessed and Thanks for posting! Great Song!
