Vinny Appice Drum solo

Vinny Appice on his brother's Slingerland kit, while filming for the Realistic Rock Drum Method DVD. It's a combination of the things he had shown before in the video (rudiments, fill ideas etc.).

Vinny never uses two bass drums or a double pedal. The setup of the kit is Carmine's.

@JackMehoff845 of course. i hate arguing too. maybe you're wrong, maybe i'm wrong, who cares? the important thing is he's a great drummer, with or without two bass drums, double pedal, toms, splashes, crashes, a band or more :D

Bonzo is Bonzo and played amazing stuff with LZ,Vinny is Vinny and played amazing stuff with Black Sabath,Dio and so on!!Just enjoy what they do,why you need to compare them?it's music not sport!!!

for all the people criticizing this vinnie , if you think your better then go form your own band and show us and the rest of the world how it is done , sitting behind your desk shit talking people who have made their career very succesfull is something anyone can do , now covering someone elses work is something anyone can do aswell , form your own band write your own stuff and show us how it is done , only then you have the right to criticise !

He doesn't even use the other bass drum....thats why I love Vinny and other drummers like Nicko Mcbrain because don't they use double bass pedals, they do double bass with one pedal because they know how the drums should be played

Amazing technique on that snare drum. Made it sound like he had at least a tom or two. Vinny is so under-rated.
