stealing satellite signals

There's always FTA. A 1metre dish will give you everything Ku-band has to offer, and a 6-footer will give you C-band which has literally hundreds of free channels.
I love FTA because I'm a PBS nut, and it gives me 12 PBS channels to choose from. If I could get C-band I'd have more, but homeowner's associations can restrict you to 1 meter. That's a whole other story though. Don't like HOA's either.

i am a component level tech, if i have the skills to make my own toys, toys that sniff radio signals and stuff of that nature then anything you broadcast over open air is fair game! so i have no problem driving up to your house and scanning everything you own that can be seen via radio signals.

TV should all be free, it's paid for by advertizers. But greedy scumbags destroyed that just like Dick Fuld destroyed his own company because he insisted that his yearly pay should be $63 million. When i was a kid in the 1950's, all TV stations wanted as many viewers as they could get. Now TV is something that more than 60% of of your bill goes toward scrambling the signals.
