I was closer through the Parabolica as Casper was tucked up behind Pierre, and was able to use the straight line power of my car to get far enough ahead of Casper's Porsche to stay ahead for turn one this time. I unintentionally got alongside Pierre too under braking as I left it a little too late and my backend started to get twitchy as the corner approached - managed to save it tho and got around safely. At the next chicane I did intend to attempt a pass inside, and probably should have completed it, but was a bit too generous with the space I left and ran wide on the exit - only staying ahead of Casper because there was no space for him to pass. I got alongside again through the Lesmos, probably not the best spot to overtake and I was very conscious that I couldn't slide wide or I'd take out Pete - but in trying to hug the inside I got a wheel on the kerb/grass and the back end started to slide out. While I wrestled to keep control Casper came bombing through, and Alarmed had been sitting behind like a vulture waiting to swoop too :) I managed to get back ahead of Casper on the straight, but again he was able to brake much later and I only just stayed ahead for the Variante Ascari. Then I was able to start to pull away down the next straight, chasing Pierre and Alarmed who were going for it wheel to wheel up to the Parabolica. Pierre won that little battle, but Alarmed got him on the straight and I was able to overtake Pierre myself - under braking into the first chicane on the next lap.
