In this video, I'm using collage elements from an old magazine, black electrical tape, yellow and blue masking tape, white adhesive first aid tape, and a tombow mono adhesive roller to create borders and images in my art journal. It's called "Starry Night" because I'm using this color scheme:

as my inspiration. I don't usually work with blues and yellow together, so I decided to challenge myself with a new color scheme.

I'm using the tapes because I've been coveting some Japanese washi tape, but it's pretty expensive, about $4.50 for 10 meters plus shipping. Okay, so it's not that expensive, but if you want lots of colors and patterns, which I do, it adds up. Instead, I went to CVS and Ocean State Job Lot to see what tapes I could find for less money. I ended up spending $4.45 for 4 different tapes: paper tape for sensitive skin, which is rice paper just like washi tape, plus the others above.
