i seen jj72 at T in the Park either 2000 or 2001 and fuck they rocked the place. what ever happened to them as at the time they were one of my best bands and im glad i got to see them live from my own eyes.

I think the early gigs were very ragged around the edges, but sometimes that was part of the appeal. He polished up a lot more and used his voice properly towards the end of the band and also on his solo tour a couple of years ago so check out some live songs from then if you can

I love JJ72 and this is my first time seeing them live. Mark dissapointed me a lot. :(
He's not half as good as in the recordings.

Mark Greaney (Lead singer) is in a new band called Concerto for Constantine.
I agree, they could have been so much more. They should have been as big as the likes of Coldplay are now. I miss JJ72 so much.

awsome! Bin going round the shed an my dads mate bin playing a cd with originals and covers some going back 30 odd years and one track has been really getting to me. i knew it was similar to a track i had in my collection. several jars in it clicked, then before i had chance to say it loud it was gone again lol anyway about 11.30 it jumped into my head i jumped up n shouted JJ72! made every1 jump and give me a funny look but will be digging the albums out later, and wiping the dust off it :-)

I took my sister to V2001, she introduced me to JJ72 in April 2001, I was going through a very bitter divorce at the time and this band pulled me through everything. How can a voice so delicate and so profound be lost. when total rubbish rips our music industry apart.

Bass player went back to uni. Lead singer is witha a new band (don't know name sorry).
The potential for this band was so huge.
