I have no idea how to respond to this. To teach kids to be ignorant, which is basically what this is, is incredibly . . . dumb, and a proof of the deteriorated society in which we now live.

A lot of swear words were once proper words; look up the word fuck and you will see that at one point it was nothing special. Look up gropecuntlane and see what you find.

There are lots more examples I could give but no individual decides who or what is good grammar; it evolves over time, and the good becomes bad or vice versa.

It's easy to laugh at this but most critics forget that English is a dynamic language. When I was at school - way before you were born - we were told there is no such word as ain't. Now everybody uses it, including you. In your video, you use the word shit. Again, when I was at school that was extremely strong, now it's used all the time in all sorts of contexts.

ok, so obviously these flashcards are stupid as crap! i'm from Richmond Ca, but I attended an Oakland Public School..I dont ever remember being taught these words in school, nor have I heard from the younger kids that theyre being taught this stupidity.. I feel like there is no need to teach them Ebonics because they are already fluent in this language. I dont agree nor do I appreciate you calling our younger kids "Dumb". it's not their faults that theyve been improperly taught.
