Enjoy a look into Audubon Camp in Maine ornithology programs on Hog Island. This video was produced by Lang Elliott using footage from the 2010 sessions and is narrated by Steve Kress, VP for Bird Conservation for the National Audubon Society.
Registration for the 2011 season is open now! http://hogisland.audubon.org

Thanks for including my music in your soundtrack! The tune is The Butterfly from my CD Gravity Hill with William Coulter. My husband was a teacher on Hog Island and I remember a lovely visit there years ago.

Hog Island can, indeed, be a life changing experience!
I've been going there for over a decade, as both a camper and FOHI volunteer. I especially love the shot of the Fish House - many years ago I was on a ladder putting up many of the lobster bouys that can still be seen! I'll be back in June 2011 for the Joy of Birding session & can't wait to get back! It was great seeing so many familiar places and faces in the video (Dr. Kress, Puffin Pete, Sara Morris), thanks for posting!
