Suzuki GSX 1100 Sport Cruiser 0 to 100 mph in 7 seconds

Remember folks this isnt a racing bike but a touring bike I wanted to put you in the driver's seat of,, I purchased it 3 years ago with 4 thousand original miles and Im very impressed with its speed and quickness for a big heavy bike,,Im sure a skilled driver willing to smoke the back tire on tack off or ride the clutch could get better speed and time than me but from where I started out up to the stop sign on the right is about 100 feet less than 1/8th mile so i figure Im running the 8th mile in less than 7 seconds at aprrox 100 mph which is fair speed but nothing to a real drag bike that runs it in 4 seconds or less,,I love this old bike and these videos is the hardest its been ran since ive owned it and want happen again for a long time cause I baby it rather than dog it,,I already have 6 thousand miles on the new back tire and its not showing any wear at all,,Hope you enjoy the video of a old bike from the early 90's and I bet back then it was a force to be dealt with,,haha,,,Rick

I'm very excited about my turbo project with this bike. This video was my inspiration a while back ago but when I turbo this sick bastard it will be a new kind of animal. I am still hooking all the oil lines together but be sure to check out my channel in upcomming weeks to see what the beast is up to. Anyone think it will shear parts of the shaft drive? I'm a bit concerned

I'll take a look but to be totally honest Ive built many hotrods in my day only they had 4 wheels,,haha,,also rode fast bikes my entire life but have never actually hot rodded one up so I want be a lot of help on yours,,thankfully though you have the enternet to tell you anything you need,,I do know with a Mr Turbo kit on my 1100 it would double its HP but man alive you could get killed on it now far to easy,, so for me its fast enough,,keep me posted old buddy..Rick

hey brother sold my gsx1100g.. got a 02 katan 750 with some hp mods. a little faster but sadly it doesnt feel like my arms are being ripped out of there sockets lol.

Great clip! I bought one myself while I'm studying in Brisbane (Btw, postgrad students like me could only buy reasonably priced bikes like the GSX1100G). Intimidated at first but after a steep learning curve, I'm used to her grunt. Hard to believe it is an 18 year old bike. Now, my study is almost over I'm torn between taking her back to my home country or buying a new bike when I get back home..

@snowmangsx1100 Ya I found a guy on here that out a turbo on a bandit and I am waiting for him to write back on what he did to get it on there. I tell you what that bandit looked like a weapon of mass distruction..lol..

I must not have seen this old buddy but a 4 into one header equals 10% power and of course rejetting the carb are the cheapest ways to get more power but of course Mr Turbo makes a turbo kit for it and at 10 % boost will probably make you close to 200 horsepower,,of course be careful that would be a death trap,,Rick
