EDL - The EDL Angels pay a visit to Downing Street (08-10-2011)

On 8th October 2011 the EDL Angels went to Downing Street to hand in a petition asking that British Prime Minister explain his comments that members of the EDL were 'sick'.

Those who burned poppies on Armistice day weren't branded sick, neither were any of the countless Islamic extremists who have been preaching hatred and intolerance and actively working to undermine our country's laws and traditions.

Instead, David Cameron chose to insult supporters of this country's largest anti-extremism movement. He insulted people who are voicing fair and legitimate concerns -- people who have been let down time and time again, but who still love this country and are committed to peaceful protest.

The government have failed to tackle Islamic extremism, and they hate to be reminded of that failure.

No wonder David Cameron's response to the EDL is to call us names -- it's because, deep down, he knows we're right.
