An actual fact is, that humans react stronger on words that express sadness, desperation or anger. This explains why so many love songs are sad. The majority of love songs focus on the negative side of love, due to feelings the musicians have felt and therefore can express and understand. This leaves me to, both unconditionally and without truly realising why, love this original song. What a shame you're a bit too self critical, like any good artist.
