A yin and yang of city-slicker rockin-rhythmic blues, and original backwoods bluegrass. Molly and Sonny Boy have dubbed their genre, Rhythm 'N Blues Grass. For example, someone hands Curtis Mayfield a banjo when he was laying down tracks for "Superfly."
Buy Molly and Sonny Boy's new CD "Rhythm 'N Blues Grass" for more great songs and sounds of a pair of Minnesota's finest singer-songwriters, and parody lyricists.
Sonny Boy (James Zents) is an emergency room medical doctor and Toronto-born Molly (Amalia Zents) is a radio announcer/private voice teacher/TV producer. They both have been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Disorder (A.D.D.)
The true-life emotional roller-coaster of their lives have yielded a number of candid expressive snapshots in their lyrics and music.
They call their style of music Rhythm 'N Blues Grass.
Imagine a mix of city-slicker rockin' blues and homespun backwoods bluegrass. Think of a ragged rock in the midst of a lapping soft river.
In fact, their eclectic blend of heartfelt songs are not about hackneyed trends. They don't ride the trend train.
Molly and Sonny Boy don't sound like 50 cent, Britney Spears, or Beyonce. They don't sound like Mariah Carey, Metallica or Paris Hilton.
However, Molly and Sonny Boy can proudly declare themselves "the best Rhythm 'N Blues Grass artists in the world." Hop aboard the Molly and Sonny Boy Express to Rhythm 'N Blues Grass.
We hope you will grow to love the roughstock and real Rhythm 'N Blues Grass music.
Please enjoy the funny, strange and weird middle-aged musicians Molly and Sonny Boy who love to sing and play their Rhythm "N Blues Grass for you!

I used to have a Cat who slept on his back, face up, all the time. At any time of the day, I could pick him up from whatever he was doing and lay him down on the couch face up, and he was perfectly happy to stay in that position.
