I've always been confused by the concept of cookies. Now, I'm not saying that I'm ready to go write a dissertation about cookies, but after this video, I feel prepared to confidently and intelligently discuss them in polite conversation.

Effective analogy, partly because, not unlike a cookie, the imagery gets into your head and takes a bit of effort to get out.

The analogy is actually pretty apt for how html cookies work. This video pretty much covers the basics of html cookies.
