From Rush's 1978 album Hemispheres....this is "The Trees".

Finally getting around to making my second video for a track from another one of my all time favorite bands, Rush. This song is one of several Rush tracks I've been playing around with.....hope to get some of the others out in the upcoming months...including what I hope will be a very cool "2112". Have been kinda avoiding the epics up to this point (Cheap Trick's "Gonna Raise Hell" was close though!).....but this one came pretty easy and I was tempted to just take the elements created for "The Trees" and jump right into "Cygnus X-1, Book II: Hemispheres"....I might still, but hoping to do something from A Farewell To Kings next.....

All praises to the band and Hugh Syme for his art work....the elements I affectionately referred to as "Pointy", "TopHat", and "Brainy" when I was labeling masks and various video titles to work with!

Hard to say how long it took, as I don't work on any particular video from start to finish.....always working on numerous parts of several different videos at a time. This one, between searching out good elements, photoshop work images/color manipulation/masking, importing it all and actual video creation with all elements, including several renders to find and correct problems.....20-30 hours?
