@ShadEmt Amy Lee is a contralto, not a soprano. And Evanescence was late to the game. Many (dozens) of Euro female fronted metal bands were out way before she even got out of high school. After Forever, The Gathering, Lacuna Coil, Theatre of Tragedy, Within Temptation; and the list goes on. Everyone acts like Evanescence started it all and all female fronted bands are imitating her, but it's just the opposite.
