Breezy in Novice

This is Breezy's 2nd try in the ring. He's 18mths old and apart from a little 'hiccup' (!) I was very pleased.

Pretty much all my training is clicker training. I avoid luring where I can but do use it sometimes. The only stuff I have of Breezy's early learning are two vids already posted to YouTube. 'Breezy and brick' which shows the left turn and 'finding' heel location, and Breezy heel' which shows him playing 'catch up' and offering heads up attention and finding that 'magic' spot while I walk.

Can I ask how you train heads up heeling?

I trained the 'head up' by free shaping, no lure, no lead.  He has a naturally straight front so it's very easy for him to do and he offered it quickly.
